Hello.
I finally have another card to show you. I got side-tracked with another project, but finally finished this one. This is a four-step card.
I saw the vertical step card template at Stempeleinmaleins, HERE, which is for a five-step card. It gave me the idea to make a four-step card to spell out the word LOVE. I had seen this type of card before but don't remember on which site and also it was for a three-step card. Anyway, I reworked the template and came up with this card.
Colouring of the images were done with Letraset Promarker and Pantone Tria markers.
The stamps that I have used are both from the latest Magnolia stamp collection With Love Collection 2013. For the card front, I have Tilda with Love Music.
And for inside the card, I have this cute image of Tilda Hiding Heart.
Both these stamps and other Magnolia stamps--full size and minis--are available from Diana's on-line store, Magnolia-licious. If you don't see the one you are looking for in the store, contact Diana and ask her if she can bring it in for you.
Have a look also at the selections of cutting dies from Magnolia, Memory Box, PoppyStamps, Marianne Design, Cheery Lynn Designs and Joy! Crafts. Diana offers discounted prices, gives excellent service and you get to earn 2% in-store credit with every purchase!

You can find more details on how to join in on the fun to WIN at the Magnolia-licious Highlites.
If you are doing the blog hop and have arrived here from ANGELA's blog then you are on the right track. If not, then you may want to start at the beginning. Here is a list of my DT teammates in blog hop order:

The actual project for the challenge is this round gift box (hmm...do you still call it a box when it's round?) I have filled it with those yummy Mozartkuglen chocolates.
On top of the gift box, I am featuring this adorable image of Bonny Tilda with her cute little tushies...LOL. Check out the other equally adorable stamps from the With Love Collection 2013 at Magnolia-licious on-line store.
I have also created this shaped easel card to go along with the gift box because it just looked so lonely sitting there just by itself...haa haa.
This image is of Tilda With a Gift For You and she is part of the Turning Leaves Collection 2012. She's one of my faves as she's so versatile that I can use her for all kinds of occasions.
Magnolia stamps are available from Diana's on-line store, Magnolia-licious. If you don't see the one you are looking for in the store, contact Diana and ask her if she can bring it in for you.
The images from the latter stamp collections have been coloured by the Magnolia-licious DT gals for the store catalogue so you can get an idea of what they can look like.
Have a look also at the selections of cutting dies from Magnolia, Memory Box, PoppyStamps, Marianne Design, Cheery Lynn Designs and Joy! Crafts. Diana offers discounted prices, gives excellent service and you get to earn 2% in-store credit with every purchase. Cool!

Pop-Up Book Card Tutorial (6" x 6" card)
I made a card a few postings ago that had a pop-up feature in the inside, HERE.
As I wrote previously, the card was based on Bente's card posted HERE. She provided a template, but it's in metric and her card measures 14.5cm x 25cm, which converts to 5 1/8" x 6 1/8". I wanted to make a 6" x 6" card, since that is my preferred size.
I'm not sure what to call this style of card. Bente called it 'brettekort' (in Norwegian) and Google translated it to 'short board', which doesn't sound like the right translation to me, do you? For want of a better name and based on my first impression that the pop-up looks like a book, let's just call this a 'Pop-Up Book Card'. (If there's already a name for this or a better suggestion, let me know.)
Anyway, here's how to make a similar card.
Materials required:
- one 6" x 12" cardstock for the card front (and back)
- one 5 7/8" x 12" cardstock for the card inside (will be trimmed to 5 7/8"x 11 7/8" after scoring)
- designer papers, coloured images, embellishments, etc. to decorate your card as you desired
Here are the templates and if you're good at interpreting templates, you probably won't need to read the rest of this posting. But some of you may want more step-by-step instructions.
Edited: I've converted the measurement to centimetres, but sorry I don't have the step-by-step instructions in centimetres.
Printable template: Pop-Up Book Card (6" x 6") PDF
Printable template in centimetres: Pop-Up Book Card (15cm x 15cm) PDF
Instructions:
Step 1 - Card Front and Back
Let's do the card front first as it's very straight forward and you don't really need instructions for it, do you? Take your 6" x 12" cardstock and score midway at 6". Fold along scoreline. Put aside.
Step 2 - Card Inside
Take your 5 7/8" x 12" cardstock and cut along the 1" line from the paper edge, from 2" to 10", as shown. Do the same on the other side.
Step 3 - Creating Valley-Fold Scorelines
On the 1" strips of paper (top and bottom), score at 4" and 8" from the cutlines to the outer paper edges. On the middle strip of paper, score between the two cutlines at 2", 6" and 10".
Step 4 - Creating Mountain-Fold Scorelines
Turn the paper upside down.
On the 1" strips of paper (top and bottom), score at 6" from the cutlines to the outer paper edges. On the middle strip of paper, score between the two cutlines at 2 3/4" and 9 1/4".
Step 5 - Creating a Thin Border
Cut off a 1/16" strip of paper from each left and right side of your card.
Step 6
Valley-fold and mountain-fold along scorelines
Step 7
Spread open your folded card and apply glue to the underside of your card as shown below.
Step 8
Adhere the card inside to the card front (and back) by positioning it to create an even thin border on all sides.
Step 9
And there you go!
Now you can decorate the card in any way you desired. Have fun with this!

Sending Warm Thoughts - Sweet Stamping Pixies Challenge #11
Hello. Happy Monday!
Seeing that today's is the 2nd Monday of the month, it's time for a new challenge at Sweet Stamping Pixies Challenge Blog--and it's our first one of the year. The theme for the challenges is: Snowflakes. This is the card that I came up with...
I hope you'll be able to play along with us. To get more details on the challenge, please hop over to the Sweet Stamping Pixies Challenge Blog and also have a look at the fabulous card of my DT teammates for inspirations.
This card is full of glitter. I don't know if you can see that even if you blow up the picture. I've covered all the white snow and snowflakes with glitter--and in the process covered myself as well..LOL.
I've turned this into an easel card...
To create the snowy winter scene, I've used 3 Magnolia images. The adorable Tilda with Snow Heart is from the Sweet Christmas Dreams Collection 2011. The Winter Fence and Winter Forest are both from the Santa Collection 2008. I've done the colouring using my Letraset Promarker and Pantone Tria markers.
Magnolia stamps are available from Diana's on-line store, Magnolia-licious. If you don't see the one you are looking for in the store, contact Diana and ask her if she can bring it in for you.
Check out the latest stamp collection With Love Collection 2013. The images are oh so cute and they have been coloured by the Magnolia-licious DT gals so you can see what they can look like. Have a look also at the selection of cutting dies from Magnolia, Memory Box, PoppyStamps, Marianne Design, Cheery Lynn Designs and Joy! Crafts. Diana offers discounted prices, gives excellent service and you get to earn 2% in-store credit with every purchase!

You are my Happy!
Hello.
I've been working on some other stuff that I can't post yet, but finally I have a card that I can show to you now.
Isn't she adorable? I love this image. She is called Up Up and Away. She is from Magnolia's newest stamp collection, With Love Collection 2013.
The sentiment was a freebie from Create with TLC. Thanks, Paulette.
The stamp for this image is available from Diana's on-line store, Magnolia-licious. The images from the newer collections have been coloured up by the DT gals to give you a sample of what they can look like. Diana has a vast collection of both full-size and mini Magnolia stamps. If you don't see the one you are looking for in the store, contact Diana and ask her if she can bring it in for you.
Have a look there also at the selection of cutting dies from Magnolia, Memory Box, PoppyStamps, Marianne Design and Cheery Lynn Designs. Diana offers discounted prices, excellent service and you get to earn 2% in-store credit with every purchase--sweet!
In the inside of the card, there are some fancy folds.
A view from a more upper angle. Love those folds!
This is a new type of card for me and I'm not sure what to call it. Diana sent me the link to the card that Bente Ă…rstad made HERE. Bente had provide a template for her card, but the measurements are in metric. I played around with her template and made my own version for a 6-inch x 6-inch card.
Edited: I have now made a tutorial for this type of card, templates included. If you're interested click HERE.
I have used another cute image from the same With Love Collection. This one is called I Am In Love, also available from Magnolia-licious.
I have coloured both images using my markers.

I love the shape of this card. I used my new Go Kreate dies--a Christmas present to myself...LOL. I've also made this into an easel card. Views from different angles here...
I hope you'll be able to play along with us in our first challenge of the year. The theme can't be any easier than that! Don't forget to hop over the the Magnolia-licious Highlites blog for more details on the challenge and to check out what my DT teammates have created HERE.
Challenges for this card:
Magnolia Down Under Challenge #178 - Anything Goes
Addicted to Stamps Challenge #46 - Blue Christmas/Winter (oops, I thought they wanted simply Winter, but they meant Blue Winter. Oh well.)
Totally Gorjuss Challenge 164 - New! (using my new Go Kreate dies)

Simon Says Stamp! Challenge - Anything Goes
I ♥ ProMarkers Challenge 148 - Anything But Square

And a bit of exciting news here...at least for me! LOL. I am a new member of the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge Design Team. Woo-hoo... So delighted and honoured to have been asked to join the talented ladies there.
And on another note, I just want to thank everyone who visits me and especially those that leave me such sweet and supportive comments here on my blog. They always put a smile on my face and I'm so thankful for you who take the time to do that. I appreciate each and everyone of you more than you can know!!
Enjoy your day and have a wonderful week!
