Today is Wednesday and so it's time for another "W"ednesday Post at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog where the DT gals take turns featuring Wee Stamps or Wild Rose Studio images on our cards/projects. Suzi, Jane and I are participating in today's posting.
And so...this is my card.
For the shape of the card, I made my own template. I searched for a picture of a scallop shell on the internet and then blew it up to the size I wanted--the width is just about under 6 inches.
I chose a circle to cut around the image, a round shape--it's suppose to represent the pearl in an oyster. Get it? Yes, yes, I know that's not the shape of an oyster shell but a scallop shell instead. Artistic license, you know...tee hee.
I made this into an easel card.
Oh by the way, those aren't flowers. They're sea anemones--at least they're supposed to be...tee hee.
This adorable image I am featuring is by Sylvia Zet from Wee Stamps...
and she is called Goldie and can be found at the Magnolia-licious on-line store HERE.
Check out the rest of the Wee Stamps Collection HERE.
Of course you can also find Magnolia stamps there--both full size and minis--as well as stamps from Wild Rose Studios, Penny Black and Candibeans. Magnolia-licious also carries cutting dies from various companies. Have look at the *new* exquisite dies from Memory Box and PoppyStamps. Prices are discounted, you get excellent customer service and what's more, you get to earn 2% credit to be applied to future purchases. Cool!
