Today we're kicking off our 'Summer Fun' Blog Hop at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog. You can get complete details of the challenge, the prizes to be won and how you can join in the fun at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog.
I get to kick off this Blog Hop...woo-hoo...so my project is the first one on the list, but here's the blog hop order of the design team gals, just in case you get lost along the way.
Norma (you are here!)
Okay, let's get started. This is what I've created for the Blog Hop.
A couple of side views:
I name the flower-shop cart 'Bunches + Blooms.'
This is the view from the back. I have Tilda sitting on a stool.
Everything is made of some kind of paper product--cardstock, patterned paper, bristol board paper, tissue paper, chipboard, kraft paper. Oh, except for the flock that I've used for the bits of grass here and there.
I had a hard time coming up with a summer project to do when inspiration came from this Magnolia Stamps image from their newly released Sakura Collection 2015. Wasn't really sure it's a 'summer fun' image, but I figured the umbrella makes it summery...hee hee.
The image is called Flowers For Sale. It's such a beautiful image that I thought I'd bring it to life...or rather create a 3D version of it. And you know that I just luvvv flowers.

Here are close-ups of the Magnolia Stamps images:

- Tilda With Fantasy Flowers from the Lost and Found Collection 2014
- Cute Sakura Tilda from the Sakura Collection 2015
- Tilda With Bow Beret from the Sakura Collection 2015
The stamps for all the above images (except for Cute Sakura Tilda--it's out of stock) are available from Magnolia-licious, Diana's on-line store where she carries a large selection of both full-size and mini Magnolia stamps. And if you don't see the particular one you are looking for, e-mail Diana and I'm sure she'll be happy to bring it in for you.
Check out also the stamps from Wee Stamps, Wild Rose Studios, Saturated Canary and Candibeans and Crafter's Companion, along with cutting dies from various companies including Memory Box, PoppyStamps, Magnolia Doohickey, Wild Rose Studio.
Prices are discounted, you get excellent customer service and you also get to earn 2% credit to be applied to future purchases.
