Pumpkins for Sale - Magnolia-licious Fall Blog Hop

Hello.  Wow, can't believe it's September already.  Happy September, everybody!

Here is my project for the blog hop--I'm calling it 'Pumpkins For Sale'.  I've been working hard on this and only just finished it about 6 hours ago...yeah, cutting it close...ha ha.

I started out planning a roadside stand selling only pumpkins but ended up adding vegetables too.

These are my eggplants, cabbages and carrots.  I used an Extra Large Daisy punch (Marvy Uchida) for the eggplants, Medium Retro Flower punch (EK Success) for the cabbages and rolled up orange tissue paper for the carrots.

The farm cart I made from heavy kraft cardstock then covered up with popsicle sticks.  I made the pumpkins by wrapping circles of orange tissue paper around facial-tissue balls.

A Fairy Happy Birthday - GDT Card for Crealies

Hello.

I've been asked to be a Guest DT for Crealies by Annelies, owner of Crealies...woo-hoo.
Crealies has just released some new Create-A-Card and Crea-Nest-Lies dies--check them out HERE-- and I'll be showcasing a few of them on my GDT cards.

Here's the first GDT card that I came up with.

When it's folded, the card measures 3½" x 5¼" or 9.0cm x 13.5cm, so it will fit into a medium-size envelope--you just need to worry about the thickness of your card...hee hee.

When you unfold the card, you can then see its multi-fold feature.

Fully spread out, the length of the card is 10 5/8" or 27cm.

This adorable little fairy being featured is from Mo's Digital Pencil designed by Mo Manning,

and it is only one of the fairies from a set called 3 Baby Fairies.  I have coloured the image with markers and a few coloured pencils to help with the shading.  I've added glitter to the wings.  

As mentioned before, I am showcasing some Crealies dies and here are the list of dies I have used:

I finally got around to using the gorgeous designer paper with the butterfly design that I've been saving up--paper's been discontinuted now.  And I've used my markers to colour the Magnolia images.

The letters LOVE I had to cut out by hand...argh.  I do have alphabet die sets, but they were either too large or too small.  So I found a font that I like on the internet and blew it up to the size I wanted.

Hello!

It's time for another "W"ednesday Post at the Magnolia-licious Challenge.  Wednesdays are when the DT gals take turns showcasing on our cards the other stamps beside Magnolia stamps that the Magnolia-licious on-line store carries:  Wee Stamps, Wild Rose Studio, Penny Black or CandiBeans.  Today it's Suzi's and my turn to participate.

Here's what I've created as my DT card using a beautiful Wee Stamps fairy image.

I've coloured the image with my Letraset markers and a few coloured pencils to help with the shading.  I've added some glitter to her wings, but I don't think you can see it in the picture above.
