Tilda in Pink
I love this image of Tilda with Hawaii Flower, from Magnolia's Butterfly Dreams Collection 2011. She's one of my faves. I have sooo... many favorites...LOL.
She's available from Magnolia-licious on-line store--definitely my favorite store to buy anything and everything Magnolia. And to top it off, Diana gives excellent service.
I've coloured Tilda with my coloured pencils.
I've made this into a shaped easel card. The shape is from a Go Kreate die set I bought on-line from the UK. They have gorgeous-shape dies, but boy they sure are expensive. Haven't been able to find a store in North America that sells them.
Here are a few challenges that I am entering:

Happy Halloween
Can you believe it's almost the end of September already? Which reminds...yikes, I'm not doing very well with my must-do-at-least-one-Christmas-card-per month. I have some serious catching up to do!
Anyway, back to my current card. It's time for our September Inspiration Challenge at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog.
Our hostess for the month of September is Tracy and she has provided this picture for your inspiration.
I hope you will come and play along with us in our challenge. There's is a prize of a $25.00 Gift Certificate for your shopping pleasure at Magnolia-licious. And to further inspire you, have a look at fabulous cards and projects that the other DT gals have created HERE!
As for my card, I have made a front-panel side step card, with the front panel being shifted to the side instead of centered.
This adorable witch is called Sitting Witch Tilda from the So Spooky Collection 2009 from Magnolia. And she is sitting on Pumpkin & Leaves from the same collection.
As you can tell...LOL...colouring in black is very much a challenge for me. I suck at it! One day I may just get it right--the operative word being 'may'...LOL.
I used my coloured pencils to do the colouring of my images. For her dress, hat and boots, I thought I was using black, but as it turned out I was using the darkest warm grey pencil. It did look black when I was colouring on the white paper, but compare to my self-made black spider (cute eh?) poor Tilda's outfit looks quite washed out...LOL. Oh well...I'll do better next time.
Normally, I would have stamp these 2 images separately and colour them. Then I would cut out the Tilda image, put pieces of foam tape/dimensionals onthe back and put her on the pumpkin for a more 3-D look. But this time, I had decided to do masking.
Here are some challenges I am entering with this card:
Simon Says Stamps - Dies to Die For
Magnolia Down Under - Challenge #115 - Fancy Folds
Paper Sundaes - Challenge #88 - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly - Creature Comforts. I figure my itty bitty spider qualifies as 'any little critter'.
This is the view of the inside of the card.
That's all for now. So glad that you manage to drop by. Thanks so much for your visit--always much appreciated. Enjoy you day.
Materials and Tools Used:
Other stamp: Inkadinkadoo All Hallow's Eve clear stamp set

Girls just wanna have fun - Guest DT Card
Woo-hoo...I have been given a Guest DT spot this week at Top Tip Tuesday Challenge Blog. This is my card.
This is their Challenge #51 and their theme is '1 for the Kids'--make a card/project for a child or teenager. They also have a fab tutorial on a Kids Tear-Off Bookmark Card. Click here to see the tutorial and also the awesome cards/projects from the gals of their Designer Team and other Guest DT's to inspire you to create something and join them in their challenge.
I have never made a bookmark card before, so I decided to give this a try.
A close-up of Tilda Playing Hopscotch on the front of my card. I have coloured her with coloured pencils with a little help from my markers for the face and skin. This Tilda is from the Sweet Rainbow Collection 2011 from Magnolia.
Opening the card, you will see first the back of the bookmark.
then the full view of the inside of the card.
This image is of Volleyball Tilda and she is from the Winner Takes It All Collection 2011.
The stamp for this Tilda and the other Magnolia images are available at Magnolia-licious on-line store, the place for anything and everything Magnolia and Diana gives you the best of services.
For the bookmark, I have use 2 mini images: Mini Rollerskate Tilda (from the Mini Winner Takes All Collection 2011) and Mini Tilda with Kite (from the Sweet Rainbow Collection 2011).
If you look closely you can probably see the perforation in the fold underneath. I made this with a small tool, Recollections perforating rotary cutter, which I bought from Michaels.

A Happy Birthday Card - Magnolia-licious September Colour Challenge
Since today's the 2nd Tuesday of September, it's time for a new colour challenge at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog. Here is my DT card.
Our wonderfully talented Tracy is the hostess for the month of September and she has chosen these colours for the challenge: orange, teal and brown.
Oooh, I love love love how these colours look together, don't you? I think I have found a new favorite colour combo!!! Woo-hoo... (Tracy, thanks for introducing it to me.) You will see me using these colours again and again...LOL.
This adorable gal is called Tilda With Peony from Magnolia's Wedding Collection 2010.
An excellent source of anything and everything Magnolia is the Magnolia-licious on-line store and Diana provides fabulous services. Not to forget also that many of the stamps are available in the mini version.
I've used my markers to colour the images for this card. As with most of my Tildas, I've cut her out and mounted her on pieces of foam tape/dimensionals, although you probably can't tell from the pictures. It takes longer to do it this was, but I do love the more 3-dimensional look this gives the card.
This is the view of the inside of the card.
I have another Tilda here sitting at the edge of a blank circle where I can write my personal birthday message on. This image is called Tilda With Butterfly Jeans and she is part of Magnolia's Butterfly Dreams Collection 2011.
I was looking for a birthday poem for the page opposite and I found this one from an old birthday card that I have received from someone in the past.
I am using this card as my entry to the following challenges:
Paper Sundaes - Challenge #86 - Finishing Touches (finish the inside of your card)
Simply Magnolia - Anything Goes
Allsorts Challenge - Week 120 - Flowers and Swirls
Top Tip Tuesday - Challenge #51 - Birthday Time
Everybody-Art-Challenge - Challenge #159 - Flowers
I hope you will come and play along with us in our challenge. There's is a prize of a $25.00 Gift Certificate from Magnolia-licious. And to further inspire you, have a look at fabulous cards and projects that the other DT gals have created HERE!
Thank you for taking the time to drop by. I very much appreciate your visit. And I am more than grateful to those who leave me a comment as I do enjoy reading what you write.
Enjoy you day!

Thinking of You - 3 KAOS Cards + 1
In my last posting I have shown a KAOS card that I received from Oliver. When I received it in the mail, it brought a smile to my face and it sure brighten my day. I wanted to do the same to a few people, so I have been busy making these three cards to send off. (See my last posting for the details on the KAOS award.)
I call these mini cards, because they are smaller than my usual 6" x 6" (15cm x 15cm) cards, but they are not really minis...LOL...more like medium-size card. They are 4" x 6" (10cm x 15cm).
So these cards, I will be mailing to three of the many beautiful people that I have met in blog land: Barb (Stampelicious), Patty Jo (PJSDesigns) and Maz (Only By His Grace). There are so many lovely ladies out, but sigh...I am only making three!!!
The layout and design, cardstock, DP's and embellishments for all three cards are the same. Trying to figure them out is what usually takes me ages to do!!! No way was I going to design 3 complete different cards. Soooo.....these are all more or less the same, except for the Magnolia Tilda image. As you can see here, I've made them into easel cards.
Here are close-ups of the 3 card fronts. On this first one, I have used Travelling Tilda from the Bon Voyage Collection 2010.
Tilda with Pony Tail is sitting on the second card. She is from the Sweet Rainbow Collection 2011.
And the third card has Sweetie Tilda from the Sweet Rainbow Collection 2011 also.
And look! While I was at it, I decided to make a Thank You card for my Swedish young friend in the same style.
And this image is Lying Tilda from the Sweet Rainbow Collection 2011.
ALL these Magnolia images I have used, including the sentiment "Just sitting here thinking of you" are available from Magnolia-licious, your on-line source of anything and everything Magnolia in North America. it is also your best source of the mini-version stamps of these and many other Magnolia images. The service there is excellent!!!
These are a few challenges that I can use my cards as entries to:

Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Top Tip Tuesday - Challenge 50 - Easel Card/Easel Box Card

KAOS-award
I have received an award--it is a KAOS award--from my very creative teenage friend Oliver, who lives in Sweden. Oliver makes beautiful cards and projects and you can see them on his blog here. I am very touched that he has thought of me and given me this award. It's so sweet of him. (Thank you so much, Oliver!) I love it! And it looks even better in real life.
I have actually not heard of this award before, so some details are due here.
KAOS-Award was created by the very creative Yoli.
Each KAOS-award includes:
Title: KAOS
Creator's own name
Size: 10x15cm
***
See you soon...well, not too soon...LOL. It'll take me a while to make the 3 cards.

A Missed Birthday
I am more often late with my birthday cards rather than early, or on time...LOL. Here's a belated birthday card that I have just finished. I have made this a shaped easel card.
I love colouring this image of Farewell Tilda, but other than a good-bye card, I don't know what other occasion card I can use her for. So here, I am making myself see her as saying Hello instead. Does that work or not?
Farewell Tilda is from Magnolia's Bon Voyage Collection 2010.
And the Magnolia-licious on-line store is an excellent source of anything and everything Magnolia and Diana provides fabulous services. Not to forget also that many of the stamps are available in the mini version.
I have made a hidden panel underneath to write a personal message on.
