Hello.
Sorry that it took me a while to have another card to post. Life happens...LOL...so sometimes crafting just have to take a back seat for a wee while.
I made this card for a co-worker at the office who took some vacation time off to go abroad and get married. She is coming on Monday and in the meantime, since I seem to be the designated card maker in the office...LOL, I had to produce a card for everyone to sign to give to her when she comes back.
So I came up with this shaped easel card. I hope she will like it.
This Magnolia image of Edwin and Tilda from the Sweet Crazy Love Collection 2012 is actually called Cuddly Sibling, but I think it works just as well for a couple as siblings.
Do you know that it took me a while to figure whose boot that's at the very right belongs to? Whether it's Tilda's or Edwin's. I've seen it interpreted both ways...LOL. The way it looks to me though, I think that's Tilda's leg that's sticking out from under her ruffled skirt. What do you think?
Magnolia-licious, Diana's on-line store, is the place to get this and more Magnolia's wonderful products--adorable stamps (full size ones and minis), doohickey cutting dies, magazines, etc. Check out the other crafting tools and gorgeous dies that are available there too.
I had to make plenty of space for my co-workers--there are sixteen of them--to sign their names and maybe along with little notes, so I've made a swing away panel to leave the bottom base of the card blank. They can also use the top part.

Hi Norma!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering what others thought of your question but they obviously don't read what you write and go straight to the card.
Hmmm.... interesting that.
I think you have interpreted it right. I have just ordered this stamps so I hadn't realized that there were only three feet. I think the middle foot is in the wrong position to be Edwins. The far right one has a bare leg so is definitely Tilda's. That's my thoughts anyway.
Now to your card...it is super gorgeous. I love the colors and the flowers. It is so tastefully made. I love how you have the heart cut out and then the other hearts on top. Awesome my friend.
Hugs Maz

ReplyDeleteIt is always a delight to visit your blog.
Gorgeous as always Norma.
ReplyDeleteWe had this discussion about who belongs to what foot. As there is flesh showing for Tilda's leg we reckoned the right boot and middle boot were hers but where on earth is Edwin's left leg? The right boot does have the same sole as the other boot though. They look the same. Instead of coloring in flesh it might be worth coloring the flesh to be part of her dress. It is a conundrum. Every time I look at it I change my mind...lol
Oh, so pretty. Love the shapes and colors.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful..love the layout, shape, colouring, image...just perfect..thanks for joining us at PFP this week..
