Woo-hoo...we're having a blog hop at the Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge Blog. The theme for this blog hop is 2-for-1 Holidays.
Take a Magnolia holiday stamp and use it in 2 ways:
1) Use it for the holiday it was intended for and
2) Re-invent it in some way for another occasion or event.
If you have arrived here from Cheryl's blog then you are on the right track. If not, then you may want to start at the beginning. Here is a list of my DT teammates in blog hop order:
Norma (you are here)
The Magnolia image that I have decided to spotlight is this adorable Christmas Tilda With Cat from the Little Christmas Collection 2012--isn't she just adorable? So, in keeping with the theme, my first card is of course a Christmas card.
I've made it an easel card--one of my fave types.
This stamp is available from Diana's on-line store Magnolia-licious. (Actually I just checked and the stamp is currently out of stock but is expected in within a few days.) Diana has a vast collection of other adorable Magnolia stamps, along with cutting dies from Magnolia Doohickey, Memory Box, PoppyStamps, Marianne Design and Cheery Lynn Designs. You can expect services, discounted prices and in-store credits for every order.
For my second card, I've made a birthday card,
also an easel card.
I played a pun on the word 'perfect' for the sentiment on the bottom of my card. Cute, eh?
