Hello.
OMG, it's been a busy month for me. I don't usually have so many postings per month, but I've got another card to show you. This one is my DT card for today's "W"ednesday Posting #8 at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog.
Each Wednesday, a few of the DT gals will showcase images from the Wee Stamps, Wild Rose Studio, Penny Black or Candybean stamp collections that are available at the Magnolia-licious on-line store. Today, it's Suzanne's, Patti Jo's and my turn to participate.
I found this Wee Stamps image partially done. I was colouring her months ago, but didn't finished--she was about three-quarter coloured up. I decided to use this as I was rushing to create a new card. I just had to finish colouring the flowers, the background and the grass.
I added some glitter to her wings--you can't see the glitter in the first picture, but I think you can see it in this close-up below.
Items I've used that are available from Magnolia-licious store:
- Mountain Lily from the Wee Stamps Collection
- Magnolia Doohickey Mini Scallop (die)
- Impression Obsessions Spiral Flowers (for the little white flowers, 1 of 5 dies )
- Impression Obsessions Leafy Branch (die)
Don't forget to head over to the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog and see what Suzanne and Patti Jo had created for you.
A reminder that there is a weekly draw for a Surprise Package Prize just for commenting. All the comments made on the Tuesday Challenge and "W"ednesday postings on all the DT gals' blogs and the Challenge Blog itself will be entered into the draw.

Be Merry - Magnolia-licious 'No DP' Challenge
Hello!
It's the 4th Tuesday of the month and at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog that means it's time for the 2nd challenge of the month. The theme this time is 'No Designer Paper'. Details of the challenge and how you can join in the fun can be found at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog. Don't forget to check out the inspirational cards/projects that the DT gals have created.
I was thinking of creating my own designer papers or dry-embossing a few cardstocks and using them as background papers. But at the end I decided to play around with just my cardstocks and do some layering, diecutting and punching.
I've created another version of a front-panel side-step card. On this one, the front-panel is to the side instead of centered.
The inside of the card has also been decorated.
Occasionally I like to use my coloured pencils to do my colouring and that's what I've done for this card.
I'm featuring a few images and dies that are available from Magnolia-licious:
- Tilda With Long Hair from the Christmas Story Collection 2012
- Jolly Tilda from the Merry Little Christmas Collection 2010
- Impression Obsessions Pine Branch die
- Memory Box 98634 Gwyneth Flourish die
Diana's on-line store, Magnolia-licious, carries a large selection of Magnolia stamps, both full-size and mini. If you don't see the particular one you are looking for, ask Diana if she can bring it in for you. Check out also the stamps from Wee Stamps, Wild Rose Studios, Penny Black and Candibeans, along with cutting dies from various companies and other crafting tools.
A reminder that there is a weekly draw for a Surprise Package Prize just for commenting. All the comments made on the Tuesday Challenge and "W"ednesday postings on all the DT gals' blogs and the Challenge Blog itself will be entered into the draw.
Challenges I am entering with this card:
Christmas Stampin' All Year Round Challenge #34 - Anything Goes
Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge 143 - Stamp, stamp, stamp
Paper Crafting Journey - Flowers
Sister Act Card Challenge #25 - Anything Goes
A Creative Romance - Dies or Punches
Chocolate, Coffee + Cards Challenge #48 - Anything Goes
Creative Moments Challenge 26 - Anything Goes or Frame It
4 Krafty Girlz Challenge 2 - Anything Goes
Bearly Mine Challenge #105 - Anything Goes
These Hellebores or Christmas Rose flowers were handmade.
You can find my flower tutorial HERE, if you're interested.
And if you'd also like to know the template that I used, you can find it here:

Give Thanks - Magnolia-licious Fall/Halloween Blog Hop
Hello!
We're having a Fall/Halloween Blog Hop at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog. I hope that you will play along with us. My DT teammates have fabulous projects for you to see. If you're already taking part in the blog hop and have come here from Suzi's blog, then you're in the track.
But just in case you get lost or if you want to start at the beginning, here's the Blog Hop order:
With fall/autumn comes fall harvest, which brings us to Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving in Canada is celebrated on the second Monday in October (fourth Thursday in USA I think), so that's less than a month away...yikes. (We concentrate on Christmas as soon as Halloween is over...tee hee.)
So I've made a Thankgiving poster/wall hanging or whatever you want to call it...LOL.
The images were coloured with markers--Letraset Promarkers and Pantone Trias. The letters were cut out by hand. I free-downloaded the font Titania Outline from Fonts Addict and enlarge it 500 times.
Here are close-ups of of the Magnolia cuties that I am featuring:
- Tilda With Two Rosettes from the Special Moments Collection 2013
- Princess Pea Tilda from the Once Upon A Time Collection 2013
- Tilda With Peanut (the Mouse) from the Turning Leaves Collection 2012
Some of these stamps are available from Diana's on-line store, Magnolia-licious. The store carries a large selection of Magnolia stamps, both full-size and mini. If you don't see the particular one you are looking for, ask Diana if she can bring it in for you. Happy Wednesday! And it's time for another "W"ednesday Post at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog. This is when either Team A or Team B will be showcasing the images from Wee Stamps and/or Wild Rose Studio stamps that are available from Magnolia-licious on-line store.
Don't forget to hop over to the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog and check out what my DT teammates (Team B) have created for you this week.
As for me, this is the card that I get to show you...
I've chosen to feature a Wee Stamps image and this adorable fairy is called Sweet Sparkle.I've coloured her with my markers. I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but I've added glitter to her wings and the circle of light around the lantern.
Check out the entire Wee Stamps collection at Magnolia-licious HERE. And be sure to check out the Wild Rose Studio stamps also. Prices are discounted and you can expect excellent customer service. For a bonus, you get to earn 2% store credit with every purchase that you can apply to future orders. Sweet!
I've finished off the inside of my card like this...
