It's the 4th Tuesday of the month and at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog that means it's time for the 2nd challenge of the month. The theme this time is 'No Designer Paper'. Details of the challenge and how you can join in the fun can be found at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog. Don't forget to check out the inspirational cards/projects that the DT gals have created.
I was thinking of creating my own designer papers or dry-embossing a few cardstocks and using them as background papers. But at the end I decided to play around with just my cardstocks and do some layering, diecutting and punching.
I've created another version of a front-panel side-step card. On this one, the front-panel is to the side instead of centered.
Occasionally I like to use my coloured pencils to do my colouring and that's what I've done for this card.
I'm featuring a few images and dies that are available from Magnolia-licious:
- Tilda With Long Hair from the Christmas Story Collection 2012
- Jolly Tilda from the Merry Little Christmas Collection 2010
- Impression Obsessions Pine Branch die
- Memory Box 98634 Gwyneth Flourish die
Diana's on-line store, Magnolia-licious, carries a large selection of Magnolia stamps, both full-size and mini. If you don't see the particular one you are looking for, ask Diana if she can bring it in for you. Check out also the stamps from Wee Stamps, Wild Rose Studios, Penny Black and Candibeans, along with cutting dies from various companies and other crafting tools.
A reminder that there is a weekly draw for a Surprise Package Prize just for commenting. All the comments made on the Tuesday Challenge and "W"ednesday postings on all the DT gals' blogs and the Challenge Blog itself will be entered into the draw.
