To my fellow Canadians, Happy Canada Day!
Our current challenge at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog is 'Summer Buggy Fun'--we want you to include cute bugs, butterflies on your card/project. We're midway into this challenge, so you have another week to enter. Visit the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog for complete challenge details and how you can join in the fun. And have a look at what my DT teammates have created for inspirations.
I saw Kathrin's tutorial on a Pull-Tab Slider Card at the Stempeleinmaleins--it's a fabulous blog with lots and lots of tutorials--and it inspired me to try making my own slider card.
And so...this is what I came up with.
You pull out the hidden sliding panel to reveal a full view of the Tilda image and a message at the same time.
And inside the card, I took it a step further and created another slider scene. This time you push the sliding panel back in to its original hidden position...
and voila...a full image of another Tilda is revealed. Neat, eh?
Here's a full view of the card inside. Love the design on the gorgeous purple paper.
I really like this slider-card style--just love the surprise elements it has. I will have to make more slider cards!
These are the Tilda images being featured:
- Hello Little Butterfly from the Butterfly Dreams Collection 2011
- Kneeling Tilda from the Sweet Rainbow Collection 2011
