It's time to launch a new challenge at the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge. The theme for the next two weeks is 'Flowers' (this is right up my alley...tee hee). Please visit the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge blog to get complete details on the challenge and to check out what the DT gals have created to inspire you to play along with us.
Here's the card that I came up with. I do love monochromatic looks.
This gorgeous fairy, created by Sylvia Zet of Wee Stamps, is called 'Misletoe Fairy'--available as both a digital stamp (directly from Sylvia HERE) or a Whimsy-Stamps rubberstamp (from retailers world-wide).
I was testing out a new type of paper that they labelled made especially for markers. I started colouring this image (I always started with the face and skin) with my alcohol-ink markers, but I found that the ink bled too much so I switched to using coloured pencils for the rest of the image. (Except for the background--that was done with markers as well.)
