Angelic Advent Calendar - FFFC #225 'Anything Goes'

Hello.

We've got another new challenge today at the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge blog.  For the next fortnight, the theme is 'Anything Goes.'  So it's easy peasy...everybody's favorite!  Check out the details at the challenge blog and also what my teammates have created to inspire you to play along with us.

As for me, this is what I've created...an Advent Calendar.

There are 25 stars there, each numbered from 1 to 25 for the days in December leading to Christmas.

and each star can be flipped over to the back of the card.

I'm using sort of a side-step card as the base for the advent calendar.

I don't have a large-star die (sigh), so the big stars were all cut out by hand...ugh.
I did that with the clouds as well.  For the templates, I searched the internet for cliparts of cloud images and enlarge them.

A closer look at the rubber-stamped images being featured.

This cute little angel is called 'Dancing with Stars Tilda.'

And this one is called 'Little Tilda.'
Both these images are from the 'A Little Christmas Collection 2012' from Magnolia Stamps.  I've done the colouring with alcohol-ink markers and coloured pencils.

Okay, that's it for me for now.  Much appreciate you dropping by.  Enjoy your day and have a wonderful weekend!

Materials and Tools Used:

Punches:  EK Success Star; Marvy Uchida Star

If you're interested in making a similar style card, you can find the template HERE

Wishing You A Happy Day

Hello.

Just a short posting here to show you a card that I've just finished.  It's a front-panel side-step card.

If you're interested, you can find the template for this card HERE.

Here's a close-up of the sweet image being featured.

- Davina (#192), an Art-By-Miran digital stamp, available from artbymiran Etsy Shop HERE

I've used my markers and a few coloured pencils to colour the image--colours listed below.

Love making these flowers--they're easy to create.
If you're interested here's how.  Use any daisy-like flower diecuts/punches.  I cut them out of white cardstock.  Apply colour(s) from distress ink stamp pads.  Mist some water from a sprayer until slightly damp and the ink spread.  Use your stylus to shape the flowers.  When dry and the flowers have stiffen, apply glue to the centres and add some flocking powder to the glue.  Shake off the access flocking powder.

Challenges I'm entering with this card:
Art By Miran Challenge #38 - Anything Goes
Glitter n Sparkle Challenge #150 - Stepper Cards
Creative Artiste Challenge #5 - Colour Challenge with Flowers and Butterflies
Creative Fingers Challenge #89 - Anything Goes
