Let it Snow! - mini easel card

Hello! Are you all rushing to make another Christmas card, just like me? LOL...I still don't have enough!!! Okay, here's a short posting to show you my latest.

I'm using one of my favorite images from Magnolia's Sweet Christmas Dreams Collection 2011. This adorable image is called Winter Tilda. Check out the Collection at Diana's on-line store Magnolia-licious. Diana has a fabulous selection of anything and everything Magnolia (stamps--regular size and mini version, doohickey cutting dies, magazines ...) and discounts and store credit too!

I've coloured her with my markers. I've added some glitter to the pompoms on her hat and her muffs. The trees are also a Magnolia image called Winter Forest from the Santa Collection 2008. I've added some liquid applique for the snow covering the tree branches.

This is a mini easel card. I've had these sets of Spellbinders Octagons and Scallopped Octagons sets that I haven't used before. I used the largest die in the set for the base and it measures only 4 1/4 inches across, so it's a small card.

And I've added a swing away panel to the bottom section of the card. Hidden underneath is blank space to write my personal message.

I did a tutorial last year for this type of mini easel card using my circles dies. The link is HERE if you're interested.

A great card Norma and thank you for the idea. I got so many of the smaller spellbinders and they are too small for the larger Tilda's but just perfect for the smaller Tilda's and most people won't know the difference anyway and they don't show up on the computer much different anyway.. So thank you.. This one is so gorgeous and love your burgandy and green togehter and Tilda is so sweetly colored... A great card..
Hugs, Jean
