On Your Wedding Day - FFFC #174 'Bingo'

Hello.

We're starting a new challenge at the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge.  The lovely Nikki is our hostess for this challenge and she has created a 'Bingo' board for you to work with.  Our challenge is being sponsored Live and Love Crafts.  Don't forget to hop over to the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge to get complete details and to have a look at what my teammates have created to inspire you to join us.

Here's what I've created for the challenge, a wedding card.

Below is the Bingo board that you get to work with.  For my card, I went with the diagonal option of flowers-lace-pearls, as well as the bottom row of pearls-charms-dies.

I love the white-on-white colour scheme for a wedding card.  The background paper is actually an white embossed designer paper, although the dry-embossing is not very deep/pronouced so you can barely see the vine-embossed pattern.  So for added texture, I've embossed another piece of plain white cardstock with polka-dot pattern.  And then more whites from the lace, flowers, foliage and pearls.  The two pewter heart charms were added to match the groom.

A closer look at the adorable bride-and-groom image being featured.

This image is called 'Wedding Couple' from Lili of the Valley.

I hope you'll join our challenge.  Please hop over to the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge to get complete details of the challenge.  Don't forget to check out what my teammates have created to inspire you to play along with us.

Happiness Comes from the Heart - Magnolia-licious May Mini Magnolias

Hello.

Happy Wednesday!  It's the day of the week that the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog dedicates to the 'Wednesday Mini Magnolia Challenge' where the design team showcases the Mini Magnolia Stamps images, along with a few Stamping Bella images thrown in every now and then.  It's my turn to participate in this week's Wednesday posting.

I was looking for a smaller card size to feature the Mini Magnolia Stamps on and was thinking that I would do a Diamond Fold Card.  But I came upon a picture of a Double Diamond Fold Card on the internet instead and decided to give it a try.

Here's the card I ended up with.

And yes, the card is small...or at least smaller than my usual size.  It measures about 6 inches wide from tip to tip, but only under 4 inches in height.

This card features multiple folds.

When the card is spread out, you can see all the fold lines here.

Edited (June 30, 2016):  You can find the template for this card HERE, if you're interested.

Sending Love Your Way - Magnolia-licious 'Anything Goes With Pearls'

Hello.  Happy Tuesday.

We're midway in our current challenge at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog.  The theme is 'Anything Goes With Pearls.'  There's one more week for you to join us--I hope you can play along.
Please hop to the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog to get complete details on the challenge and don't forget to check out what my DT teammates have created to inspire you.

Here's the card that I came up with--it's a front-panel centre side-step card.

This challenge theme is right up my alley as pearls are one of my favorite embellishments.  I usually add pearls to my cards anyway, but one this card I've added a lot more of them than I usual do.

Here's a view of the inside of my card.

I love the fancy-fold feature of this type of card--it's one of my favorite card styles.
(You can find the template that I used HERE if you're interested.)

Here's closer look at the Magnolia Stamps images being showcased.

I've had this stamp for a long time but I think this is the first chance I've got to ink and colour the image --pathetic, eh? since she's just adorable.

You Make Me Quiver - Magnolia-licious 'Anything Goes or Bingo'

Hello.

This is a midway reminder of our 'Bingo or Anything Goes' Challenge at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog.  There's one more week to go before the end of the challenge.

Here's what I've created for the challenge.

For my card I chose to work with the Bingo board's bottom horizontal row--3 pattern papers, two stamps, charms (see the Bingo board below).

The sentiment 'You make me quiver' was a freebie from TLC Creations (thanks, Paulette).  I thought it would be perfect to go with the cupid image.

I'm not sure what this type of fancy-fold card is called.  I saw someone's card that she said she made it using a silhouette cameo.  Since I don't have (can't afford...lol) that machine, I made my own template.  I played around with the measurements and settled on those that would give me 6" x 6" card when folded.

Anyway, I'm pretty happy with what I came up with.
Edited:  I've posted the template for this card. If you're interested, you can find it HERE.

I hope you'll join our challenge.  This is the Bingo board that you've been given to work with.

Please hop over to the challenge blog, HERE, to get complete details of the challenge and how you can play along with us.  Don't forget to check out what my teammates have created to inspire you. There's also a prize of a $20 Gift Certificate from Magnolia-licious.
