A Birthday Gift Set - Magnolia-licious Blog Hop 'Birthday Fun'

Hello.

Today we're kicking off our 'Birthday Fun Blog Hop' at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog.  You can get complete details of the challenge, the prizes to be won and how you can join in the fun at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog

If you're already taking part in the Blog Hop and have arrived here from Suzi's blog, then you're on the right track.  If you didn't come from her blog then you may want to start at the beginning.  Here's a list of the participating DT gals in blog hop order:

For this blog hop, I've created a birthday gift set which includes a box of chocolates, a bottle of wine and a birthday card.

The first item in the set is the gift box...

This type of box is called a sliderbox.  Made for a someone who really loves chocolates, I've filled the box with chocolates.  Also, on the panel that slides out from the back when you pull the drawer open, I've put a cheeky sentiment about chocolate...hee hee--'Chocolate is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.'

Here's a very short video of how a sliderbox works.

If you're interested in making a sliderbox and are looking for a tutorial for it, you can find it HERE.

The next item is the bottle of wine...

and the gift tag I made to hang around the bottle neck.

And finally this birthday easel card completes the gift set...

Here are close-ups of the Magnolia images being featured and their names:

- Stop in the Name of Love Tilda from the Lovely Duo Collection 2015

- Tiptoe Tilda from the Animals of the Year Collection 2014

- Tilda with Fantasy Flowers from the Lost and Found Collection 2013

The stamps for all the above images are available from Magnolia-licious, Diana's on-line store where she carries a large selection of both full-size and mini Magnolia stamps.  And if you don't see the particular one you are looking for, e-mail Diana and I'm sure she'll be happy to bring it in for you.

A Happy Easter Happy Spring Sliderbox

Hello.

I found a Sliderbox tutorial HERE and I thought it's a perfect project to make for Easter--a gift box filled with Easter eggs.

I've filled my box with yummy Lindt Chocolate easter eggs.

The special feature of a slider box is when you pull open the drawer, a tab slides out at the back.

Cool, eh?  I've written my sentiments on the sliding tab.

This delightful Bebunny stamp from Crafter's Companion is perfect for any Easter card/project.

The bunny is called Sweet As A Rose and is available from Magnolia-licious.
Check out the rest of the Bebunny collection HERE.

Magnolia-licious, Diana's on-line store, also carries--beside Magnolia stamps of course--stamps from Wee StampsWild Rose StudiosSaturated Canary and Candibeans.
Check out also the cutting dies from various companies including Memory BoxPoppyStampsMagnolia DoohickeyWild Rose Studio just to name a few.  Have a look!
Prices are discounted, you get excellent customer service and you also get to earn 2% credit to be applied to future purchases.
