Gift Bags and Tags - Magnolia-licious July Mini Magnolias

Hello.

Happy Wednesday!  It's the day of the week that the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog dedicates to the 'Wednesday Mini Magnolia Challenge' where the design team showcases the Mini Magnolia Stamps images, along with a few Stamping Bella images thrown in every now and then.  It's my turn to participate in this week's Wednesday posting.

I've created these gift bags along with the gift tags to showcase the Mini Magnolia Stamps images.  The size of the Mini Tildas is just perfect for gift tags.

These aren't really proper bags.  For each bag, I've actually just made a little white box and wrapped a piece of coloured cardstock around it.  Then I decorated the bags with punched paper laces, ribbons, flowers and diecut leaves.

I've filled each box with mini Lindt dark chocolate squares...yum.

Taking a closer look at the Mini Magnolia Stamps images being featured.

Gift Card Purse

Hello.  This is going to be a short posting.

For those last minute gift if you can't think of what to get her/him, a gift card might be just the thing.  So much easier and actually much preferred so she/he can so buy whatever she/he wants--rather than what you think she wants...tee hee.  I tried to make this gift card holder to look like a purse (so this is for a 'her'...tee hee).

This gift card holder is based on the double-tag card style that you can find the tutorial HERE at Marianne's blog.  I used a smaller circle, 9 inches in diameter, to reduce the card to 4½" x 5½", a better proportion for a gift card holder than the original size.  This is easy to make--the trick is to use a double-sided designer cardstock.  Also I only bothered to make one tag.

This Magnolia image I'm featuring is from an older Magnolia collection:

- Tilda Goes Shopping from the Bon Voyage Collection 2010.

The stamp for this image is currently out of stock at Magnolia-licious, Diana's on-line store, although the mini version is available there.  Magnolia-licious has other equally adorable images, both full-size and minis.  If you don't see the particular one you are looking for, ask Diana if she can bring it in for you.  Check out also the stamps from Wee Stamps, Wild Rose Studios, Penny Black and Candibeans, along with cutting dies and other craft supplies.

Criss Cross Gift Card Holder

Hello!  It's less than four weeks before Christmas, people!  Yikes...

I'm sure a lot of gift cards are going to be handed out this holiday season, so I've created a gift card holder that can be used for this purpose.  I made it using the criss-cross card as its base.

This card/gift card holder is smaller than my normal 6" x 6" card--it is only 4.5" x 4.5".

The two adorable images are from Magnolia's previous year's Christmas collection--I love that collection--a favorite of mine.

- Tilda With Two Little Gifts from the A Christmas Story Collection 2012

- Tilda With Lovikkamittens from the A Christmas Story Collection 2012

The stamps for these two cute Tildas are available from Magnolia-licious, Diana's on-line store, where she carries a large selection of both full-size and mini Magnolia stamps.  And if you don't see the particular one you are looking for, ask Diana if she can bring it in for you.  Check out also the stamps from Wee Stamps, Wild Rose Studios, Penny Black and Candibeans, along with cutting dies from various companies and other crafting supplies.

'A Little Something' Gift Tag - Magnolia-licious November Blog Hop

Hello.

It's blog hop time at the Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge Blog!  This is our last one of the year--taking a break in December.  The two Magnolia-licous teams are joining forces for this blog hop...woo-hoo!

If you're already doing the blog hop and came here from Eulanda's blog, then you're on the right track.  But if not, you may want to start at the beginning.  There's a challenge blog hop as well as a special contest about counting candy canes.  Find out more details about the blog hop and the contest, how you can enter either or both and the prizes, at the Magnolia-licious Highlites, HERE.

Here is the list of our participating DT gals in blog hop order:
Eulanda Silvey
Norma (your are here!)

The theme for the blog hop challenge is 'Interactive Holiday Tags'.  What I've created is this gift tag!

The interactive part is the paper circle/wheel on which I've written the message 'A little something  Just for You * Happy Christmas'.  Portions of the message appear within the window opening as you spin the wheel--so I guess you'd call this a spinner gift tag?

This adorable Magnolia image that I am featuring is called Tilda With Two Little Gifts.  She is from the A Christmas Story Collection 2012 and is available from Diana's on-line store, Magnolia-licious.

Check out the rest of the collection and Magnolia's latest Nativity Collection 2012--they're oh so cute! You will see the sample images that have been coloured by the DT gals--rather than just the black stamped images with a watermark on top of it. Click HERE and HERE.
Other stamps, both full-size and mini, are also available from Magnolia-licious. If you don't see the stamp that you want there, just ask Diana and maybe she can bring it in for you.
Not to be missed are the variety of cutting dies from Magnolia, Memory Box, PoppyStamps, Marianne Design and Cheery Lynn Designs.  Diana gives excellent service, discounted prices and you also earn in-store credit for every order.

I've coloured the Tilda image with markers--my collection of Letraset Promarker and Pantone Tria markers.  The shape of the tag is from a Spellbinders Label Twenty-Eight die.  The trees were created using Dee's Distintively Christmas Stacker Tree dies.  Don't know if you can tell or not, but I've covered the trees and the snowflakes with micro-fine glitter.

I ♥ ProMarkers Challenge #145 - Anything Goes
Divas by Design Challenge 63 - Glitter and Sparkle
